Voxox Announces Three Promotions to Grow Channel Partner Program

Today we announced not one, not two, but three promotions within our business sales and channel team -- Voxox’s Joann Farrar, formerly senior channel manager, is now our VP, agent channel; Joe Schiavone, formerly national channel manager, is now our VP, dealer channel; and our fearless channel partner program leader, Tad Nikolich, formerly VP of business sales, is now SVP business sales. These changes are a reflection of the continued growth of our channel program and we are thrilled to have these three terrific team members leading the charge!

Voxox Announces Three Channel Partner Program Promotions

Two senior channel managers – Joe Schiavone and Joann Farrar – promoted to VP positions and channel program executive Tad Nikolich promoted to SVP role to further grow channel partner program

SAN DIEGO – September 30, 2014 – Voxox®, the most comprehensive cloud-based rich communication service for consumers and businesses, today announced that three of its channel partner program members have received promotions. Voxox’s Joann Farrar, formerly senior channel manager, assumes the role of VP, agent channel; Joe Schiavone, formerly national channel manager, is now VP, dealer channel; and channel program executive, Tad Nikolich, formerly VP of business sales, is now SVP business sales. Farrar will focus on the company’s master agents and sub-agents. Schiavone will support dealers who work with installations and tier one support. Nikolich will continue to oversee the business and wholesale sales effort, a key focus of which is the company’s channel partner program and all related activities. Farrar and Schiavone both report to Nikolich.

Joann Farrar has 18 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. She joined Voxox in 2009 to establish the small to medium-sized business and wholesale business sales channels, and has since been a critical and guiding voice in evolving the channel partner program. Prior to Voxox, Farrar was the general manager at TelNet Technologies, and before that, Farrar held management positions in operations with NEC and Nortel (now owned by Avaya). Earlier in her career, Farrar was a financial analyst for Merrill Lynch. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the USC Marshall School of Business.

A recent addition to the Voxox channel team, Joe Schiavone has more than 28 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, specifically in distribution channel development. He has built programs from the ground up to hundreds of dealers while driving exponential revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships with major industry groups, such as HTG, Connect Wise and Tiger Paw among others. Prior to Voxox, Schiavone held leadership roles at FreedomVoice Communications, where he developed a dealer channel throughout the United States from zero to over 500 certified dealers of hosted PBX cloud services, VoiceNation, M5 Technologies and Teleco Toshiba. Schiavone holds a master’s degree in business administration from Rutgers University and a bachelor’s of science from Syracuse University.

With more than two decades of experience in building and leading top-performing sales teams, Tad Nikolich understands and enjoys the technology nuances that underpin the rapidly evolving telecommunication industry. Nikolich has been overseeing the business sales team at Voxox since joining the company in 2008, initially in the role of director of sales, and then as VP of business sales since 2011. Previously, he worked at Pac-West, TelePacific Communications and Express Tel. At Express Tel, he achieved numerous accolades, including Top Sales Representative, Youngest Sales Manager, Top Manager, and nine-time President’s Club winner. Nikolich and his teams have successfully grown their markets and have repeatedly won high profile account competitions. Nikolich holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University, Sacramento.
