Change Your Caller ID on the Fly with Voxox Call iPhone App

Written by Tristan Barnum | Aug 03, 2011

So you've used the Voxox app for iPhone to save tons of cash on those international and long-distance toll calls you've been making to that hunky Brazilian you met on vacation, but since it's been a few weeks and you've realized a life of leisure filled with epic Rio de Janeiro sunsets, sweet coconuts and naps in the hammock are all just a fantasy, you're wondering, "What else does this app do?"

Well, it does a lot! Not only does Voxox for iPhone allow you to make cheap international and long-distance toll calls (which you discovered thanks to Mr. Hunky-Brazil), this free app also lets you completely customize your calling experience. For starters, when using Voxox, you can change the outbound caller ID* to make calls appear as if they are coming from your office, home phone, cell phone, your Voxox number, etc. The idea behind this is that you can make it seem like you're placing a call from any of your numbers when in reality you're calling straight from your iPhone -- handy if you have those friends or business contacts who only pick up calls from numbers they recognize. Plus, if you're not into changing your caller ID settings, you can always use your Voxox number as a second line for that new business you've been dreaming up or as a contact number for your upcoming blind date.

Other cool customizable features include Find Me, which provides call forwarding from your Voxox number to any of your devices sequentially or simultaneously and you can also change your default country code if you live in a different part of the world. It's easy and all this can be done on the fly right from the app. Here's a demo:

Now that you've got the know-how, go customize your settings to make the Voxox app work harder for you! If you don't already have Voxox on your iPhone, get it here for FREE and start saving today.
