We quietly rolled out a brand-spanking new version of Voxox for iPhone late last week. We changed the UI. A lot. Which is exciting and scary and sort of asking for trouble, because it always winds up causing turmoil among long-time users (my background is in UI/UX and it even sets my teeth on edge when a beloved interface changes dramatically). We were certainly expecting to have to do a little retraining on how to use some of our old features, but are fairly confident that the changes we made make the app not only better, but more usable. Let's start with a quick how-to on faxing in the new version of Voxox for iPhone, shall we?

It’s true, and as mobile devices have continued to develop into handheld multimedia machines (think iPhone 5 and apps like Voxox Call), mobiles and smartphones are playing an increasingly important role in our daily lives.

We've made big strides in communication technology since then -- think iPhone 5, an "always-on" internet connection, VoIP services like Voxox and social media -- but it wasn't too long ago we were still relying on smoke signals and stone newspapers to get the word out.

Even though every mom is different, there's a good bet that your mom really loves to hear from you- possibly even more than she loves getting that same old tired #1 Mom bouquet of flowers.

Today we announced that our company has nearly doubled its workforce in the first quarter of 2013, expanding operations in San Diego, as well as internationally. We also announced that we've added Joe Lawrence of Qualcomm fame as our Chief Marketing Officer, and entrepreneur, Tristan Barnum, as VP of Marketing.
