The U.S. and Mexico have cultivated a dynamic business environment that encourages innovation, collaboration and mutual prosperity for small businesses with partners, employees, and customers across the border. Part of the competitive advantage for both U.S. and Mexican entrepreneurs is the geographical proximity; however, there are also challenges related to cross-border product shipment, delivery, payment, and knowing the key legislation related to taxes, customs, etc. Entrepreneurs with cross-border ties must be able to have effective international communication, and when this comes to the smallest businesses with shoestring budgets, international calling costs (and cost-savings) can really matter.

Voxox CEO and co-founder Bryan Hertz recently did an interview with OC Talk Radio's Strategic Investor program  -- OC Talk Radio is Orange County's only all business talk radio station! Host Charley Wright asked questions about the company -- its history and mission to bring "powerful unified communications to the masses"; Voxox's flagship service, Cloud Phone, "which turns any mobile device into a business phone system in three minutes"; and also about how the U.S. Navy is using Voxox Cloud Phone to reduce and prevent DUIs.

Today we announced that Voxox's flagship offering, Cloud Phone, is gaining a new distribution network in the Middle East and North Africa region through partner Virtustream. According to the new agreement, Virtustream will be working closely with operators and other service providers in the area to partner with Voxox to resell Cloud Phone under their own brand. Today The Associated Press helped us spread the word on an amazing customer story with the article titled, "US Navy Turns to Cloud Technology to Reduce Drunken Driving" by Yuri Kageyama. The article was syndicated around the world, online and print, in outlets such as The New York Times and Fox News and many others. So what caught the world's attention?  The U.S. Navy's NPTU (Nuclear Power Training Unit) has been using Voxox Cloud Phone in an unexpected way -- to curb drunk driving among its troops. 

Voxox Cloud Phone just went mobile with a new app.  The app complements our original Cloud Phone web service, but it also has some exclusive features. Also noteworthy is that this new mobile app is the first product to use Voxox's patent-pending VoIP codec, which has outperformed Skype, Line, and We Chat in recent MOS tests evaluating voice quality, particularly in poor connectivity environments. Check out the press release below to get the info! 

We just got a really cool recognition from ChannelProSMB - Voxox was named a "Vendor on the Vanguard 2016" in the Unified Communications category, and one key reason is Voxox Cloud Phone!

ChannelProSMB compiles an annual list of "lesser-known innovators you may not have heard of yet, but will be glad to know better" based on the suggestions of analysts and industry influencers. The list is published in the ChannelProSMB March 2016 print issue cover story, which highlights 2-3 companies per industry category. Voxox is on p.24. Here's a quote:
