We live in a world where everything is growing and changing rapidly. Do you remember a time when having a cellular phone was a luxury? Now it seems that everyone is carrying around a mobile phone, a laptop, and some other handheld device. We live in a fast paced world. Today many tech savvy people, especially those within the millennial generation, prefer to have a conversation using their fingertips.
I live in southern California. Our friend Mark lives in the Bay Area. He tours vineyards in Napa Valley, Europe and New Zealand. I know this because he loves to digitally share his adventures with his friends: photos of his journeys, bottles he’s tasted and the sheer beauty of wherever he happens to be. My best friend is on Sprint. My brother’s got Verizon. I don’t even know what carrier service my mom uses. In-network free calling isn’t anything new but if your peeps are anything like mine, there is no “in-network.” Believe me, I’ve begged to get them to switch to AT&T, pleading the free in-network calls case, but the general response is, “Why should I be the one to switch?” Admittedly, changing carriers is a pretty big hassle. Net result: I was spending a small fortune just keeping in touch.
